A constant that a variable or expression is multiplied by
What is a coefficient?
A triangle with no angle measuring 90º or more
What is an acute triangle?
Writing a nonzero number as

where n is an integer and 1≤|a|<10 (that is, a has exactly 1 digit before the decimal point, and that digit is nonzero)
What is scientific notation?
The same shape and size
What is congruent?
The ratio used to enlarge or reduce similar figures
What is scale factor?
In an equation, a number that can be substituted for the variable to make that equation true
What is the solution?
Using the distributive law to add any two multiples of an expression such as x. For example, you can simplify
4x+5x = 5x
What is combining like terms?
A way of representing part of a whole or part of a group by telling the number of equal parts in the whole and the number of parts you are describing
What is a fraction?

What is similarity?
A number that measures how steep a line is. It shows the amount of change in the height of the line as you go 1 unit to the right

What is the power to a power rule?
A line that intersects two other lines in different points

In an expression or equation, eliminating a variable by replacing it with another expression that it is equal to
