Lineage (of our Designation) 

Coastal Patrol Base 14 was one 21 coastal patrol bases established in WWII for anti-submarine patrols, convoy escort missions, search-and-rescue, and reconnaissance/intelligence gathering. It was founded on July 16, 1942 in Panama City, Florida.
