The school can send their school-specific registration URL in documents & templates and students will then enter their email but must know their DOB and student ID to be linked to their school.
Can students request counselor evaluations on Scoir?
No — the counselor already has access to the student's profile, then the Manage Documents tab, to upload it directly
True or false: through the CA integration, a counselor can see whether a student and parent have signed an Early Decision contract.
False — that's completed entirely on Common App's side and isn't visible to counselors
Do students ever see, in the recommendations section of their college tile, whether a school requires a Counselor Evaluation?
No — they only see it later, in the application document status section, once it's on file or sent
Can transcripts be bulk deleted?
No, they can only be replaces or manually deleted
How can a user stop getting college visit notifications if they don't need them?
They can update their notification preferences in their personal profile
If a counselor is looking for which of their students need a counselor evaluation, what would you recommend?

A Common App integrated school has the counselor acknowledgment of applying setting on. A student moved a Common App school to applying — can the student still submit their application in Common App before the counselor approves it?
Yes — that setting doesn't actually prevent the student from applying

A school marks a section of IB/AICE-type questions as "optional" in their SSR template, but individual students' SSRs still require a yes/no answer to them. Why can't those be skipped?
The "optional" template setting only controls whether course counts are included — the underlying questions are required by Common App and must still be answered per student
How do you reactivate a student whose account was archived?
Filter the student roster for "archived" under registration details, find the student, go to their profile, and click restore

A CA school wants an optional document sent to only its in-state college list. What's the problem with sending it through the CA integration itself?
Because of CA's "one and done" nature, the document becomes visible to every school the student applied to via CA — so it needs to go outside Scoir for those schools
If a school is opted into the CA integration and allows students to request LORs, can they disable the ranking option for students?
No, unless they prevent students from requesting altogether — ranking is just an option, they can manually assign instead
Is there a way to bulk-export the exact date each student was marked "Applied," straight from the college tile?
No — that data can't be bulk exported today
Once a teacher's Scoir account is registered, can their login email be changed to a new address if they can't log in?
No — the school has to add the teacher again under the new email and remove the old account's roles (re-requesting any pending LOR from the new account)
A linked parent can't view their student's scattergram even though preferences are set to display to parents. What's the most likely reason?
The parent is still in a "pending" review state — added by the student rather than invited by the school, so they're not yet linked to the school
If a school wants to opt into the CA integration, besides asking if their students have requested recommenders in CA, what are two things you should check in admin first?
How many students have added Common App tiles to applying/applied, and whether they've already sent documents
Once a teacher LOR is sent to a Common App school, can it be unsubmitted?
Yes — only if no colleges have downloaded it yet, as shown by the last delivered date
Alumni at CA-opted-in schools can't connect their own Common App account since that's only available to current seniors. How can documents still get sent for an alum applying to a CA school?
Add the college to their Applied list with an application method of "other" (not Common App), select the correct round, and send documents through Scoir's normal send system
