Never
I created a bibliography and cited all my sources in my History paper. However, I forgot to add a footnote to one of the quotes, and cited it in APA rather than doing what my teacher had asked and citing it in MLA. Is this academic dishonesty?
NO: Since I cited the quoted resource in the paper, I'm likely not committing academic dishonesty. However, I'm not meeting the assignment requirements and will likely be docked points by my teacher.
