Ebeneezer may be rich but he’s a miser and so his house and his business are cold. He has no heating, barely any candles and expects Bob Crachitt to work long hours for little pay.Scrooge doesn’t live lief – he barely exists. He is distant and cold, indifferent to those around him, unmoved by the suffering of the masses, and even estranged from his own family.
