No “Zeroing Out” especially for a student ahead or at grade level.
No undocumented zeros.
Students must complete the final or a project to complete a course.
Quality of Work, Grade to Date, and Overall Percent should all match before closing a course.
Schools should print out the Apex Course Activity Sheet when the course is completed and add to student’s academic file.
No Prescriptive course shall be used unless the student received instruction in the same course (previously took it and failed it), or is TRULY not on track to graduate on time.
Exceptions to any grade system policy will need to have director approval and require consultation with all stakeholders-including administrator, student, and teacher responsible.
