The Romans only kept the strong and healthy babies, if it was not approved by the father it was left outside to die.

A girl could either learn at a public school, be sent away, or stay home to be taught.

The bride wore a white toga with a long veil.

They’re mother would be the most important teaching the girl cultural ideals and how to manage chores in the house. The girl would also be taught how to look pretty.

In the ceremony they offered their childhood toys and clothes to the god.

Women could not attend, speak in, or vote at political assemblies and etc.
Why did the father protect their daughters?
Her brothers would protect her and his father would be happy of continuing his bloodline.

Poor men would have jobs like craftsmen, shopkeepers, or farmers.
What toys did the boys play with?
Also they Boys played war games, and had wooden swords, little soldiers, and chariots with wheels.

The groom also wore a white toga, along with leather shoes that he had shined with animal fat
How long did babies usually live?
Babies usually didn’t usually live past the age of 10.
Who would be close to the girl?
Her uncle or Avunculus would be close to the girl.
What would they usually eat for the whole day if they were poor?
They usually only ate bread for breakfast. And they wouldn’t usually eat nothing else.

Boys wore a tunic down to their knees and a cloak if it was cold.
