What Does the S stand for?
Specific
provides confidential, free (up to 10 visits with a counselor per semester), short-term mental health treatment to currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students. Our counselors are licensed mental health professionals and supervised graduate student interns. In general, counselors do not give advice, but seek to help clients understand themselves and their situation more fully in order to more clearly see their options. Our counselors cannot guarantee specific results, however, counseling does benefit many people.
