Using what you know about Newton's Second Law, explain why a vehicle with a large mass might use more fuel than a car with a smaller mass. Assume both cars drive the same distance in the same amount of time.
According to Newton’s Second law, the acceleration of an object is inversely proportional to an object’s mass. This means that the larger the mass of an object, the greater amount of force (fuel) is required to accelerate the vehicle over a given amount of time and distance.
