It varies. 24 credits for instructional and ed specialist. 42 credit hours in an approved program of career and technical education at Temple University, Penn State University, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, or Point Park University for CTE. Complete the PDE approved PA Inspired Leadership (PIL) Induction Program.

Is it accurate that PA pre-approves other states’ certification programs?
No PDE does not approve preparation programs at institutions outside of PA.

PA does not offer reciprocity, however there are some reciprocal elements.
