A 30-year old healthy female is treated for atypical pneumonia with erythromycin, but returns to the clinic complaining of voting and nausea after one day of therapy. She has a headache and sore throat, Her temp is 99.6 F, BP 105/80, HR 88, RR 18 bpm. Her lungs have diffuse wheezes and her abdomen is soft, contender, and non distended. What is the best management for this patient.

Erythromycin can be discontinued and another macrolide, such as Zithromax can be initiated.
