A clipping mask works like a cookie-cutter.

  1. Determine the image or objects you want to clip. This will be called the original image. Clipping will only work if you are using a single image or grouped objects.

Describe how to create a clipping mask.

1.) Create a closed shape you want to use as the mask over the original image. This object is called the Clipping Path.
