What is servant leadership?

100

<Blank> the most common agile practice for teams, but it doesn't fit in all contexts.  We have learned that context matters to determine the specific agile practice that suits a specific need.

What is scrum, and should all teams use it?

100

This is a technique in which 2 team members work together jointly on a work item, resulting in improved quality and knowledge sharing.

What is pairing?

100

Doing this allows teams and portfolios to reduce context switching (aka multi-tasking) to improve efficiencies and their ability to deliver faster.

Currently, many teams and programs find themselves in a 'traffic jam' with multiple initiatives underway at once.

Why do we need to reduce WIP (Work in Progress)?

200

Agile Continuous Improvement Competency Center.

What does ACICC Stand for?

200

These types of teams have far fewer dependencies on other teams or vendors (thereby reducing lag time), and gives team  members the time needed to work together in an efficient manner.

The end result is a team that is able to deliver value quickly and efficiently.

Currently, teams are hampered when members are assigned to multiple initiatives, and they are dependent on many other teams in order to complete their work.

What is the value proposition for dedicated and cross-functional teams?

300

This concept encourages incremental delivery of value, versus a long development cycle followed by a large release.

What is Minimum Viable Product (MVP)?

300

These statements define the underlying agile principles.  Our experience is that the degree to which portfolio and teams can adhere to these principles is a key indicator of success.

See the visual / chart for a list of the principles!

What are the 12 agile principles

300

The most common<Blanks>  are:  SAFe, LESS and Nexus.  Here at CMG, we do not anchor to one specific framework, but utilize the tools best suited to the specific portfolio context.

What are some agile scaling frameworks, and which is best?

300

This is the practice of helping people succeed through change.

What is People Change Management (PCM)?

300

We have done a lot of training in 2018!

Going forward, we will encourage teams to go through training together, this allows the instructor to focus more on the team's specific context, and provides a richer learning experience for students.  We will also be providing a greater focus on follow-up with the team(s) after training.

What are some lessons learned regarding the agile training approach?

400

These define the underlying values of agile.  These values continue to be relevant, we should continue to anchor to them during our enterprise agile journey:

We value Individuals and interactions over process and tools

We value working solutions over Documentation

We value customer collaboration over contract negotiation

We value adapting to change over following a plan

What is the agile manifesto?

400

These two key behaviors drive the solution to results.  (From People Change Management)

What are awareness and adoption and why are they important?

400

400

<Blank> improves the likelihood of change success at CMG.

What is the value proposition proposition for enterprise change agility?

400
