What are causes of accidental Cyanide poisoning?

The most common cause of cyanide poisoning is hydrogen cyanide gas exposure through inhalation. Caused by burning of synthetic materials (plastic in house fires). 

Prolonged infusions of sodium nitroprusside (Nitropress).

Cyanide can also be found in apple seeds, flax seeds, apricot pits, and bitter almonds.
