الْيَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ وَأَتْمَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعْمَتِي وَرَضِيتُ لَكُمُ الْإِسْلَامَ دِينًا ۚ فَمَنِ اضْطُرَّ فِي مَخْمَصَةٍ غَيْرَ مُتَجَانِفٍ لِإِثْمٍ ۙ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ 




18th Dhul Hijah - Eid Al-Ghadeer 

The Holy Prophet (saws) was commanded by Allah (swt) to appoint Imam Ali (as) as the caliph/leader of the Muslim ummah after the Prophet (saws). 

Only after carrying out this final command, did Allah (swt) declare the religion of Islam as complete and perfect. 

Thus emphasizing the imperative role of divine leadership in the religion of Islam.

Ali (a) since he has been martyred, would as well be written for you." 'Alqama continues: "when the Imam finished reciting the ziyara, he told me 'O 'Alqama, if you can recite this ziyara every day during your lifetime, do it and all its reward will be yours."
