Long Answer: Well, when it comes between the two, they each do well in different parts of the entertainment industry. Marvel is much better when it comes to the movies but DC is much better when it comes to animated TV shows and movies (NOT Teen Titans Go, although the first Teen Titans was great... until they cancelled it) when it comes to the comics, both are pretty comparable to each other. So it comes down to the actual content. DC does really well when it comes to alternate timelines, parallel universes, and different Dimensions, however its so extensive that DC doesn't have one clear timeline. Not to mention when it comes to getting all of the characters together, DC has too many creators of different characters to get them all together and create a good story line without messing up what characters can and cannot do. Marvel, on the other hand, does very well on their original timeline, but when they try to extend to alternate universes, you get weird things such as peter porker. However, marvel does really well when it comes to putting all of the characters together, creating great story lines such as the infinity gauntlet/infinity war series. So who wins in the end? Neither can exactly trump the other, however, with Marvel's cinematic universe, Marvel is much more successful than DC right now.
