The purpose of an evaluation appointment is to evaluate a client’s mental health diagnosis and symptoms. Psychiatric evaluations are the first step in a client accessing medication management (psychiatric medication). Evaluations are also used for many housing applications (supportive housing 2010E’s and Transitional housing programs).
