Why did Sarah and Tom (parents) have to wake up in the middle of the night thinking Alice was missing?
When Alice was about 18 and was working at Lotus Lake Camp, she was instructed by her boss to leave the camp car in a specific parking lot in town where they would use it the next morning. At about 10pm, Tom received a call from the camp director saying the car had not been returned which threw him into a panic. He ended up going out to Rhino fest (hippie music festival in a field 45 minutes away) to look for her because the police did not have any report of an accident. He waited outside the entrance and eventually, someone said they had seen her partying inside. She did eventually call me at two in the morning and told me she was fine and that they just hadn't seen where she had parked the car.
