Something unique about a person...appearance, Gender, sexual orientation, religion, ancestry, etc- something that bullying can be motivated by. it can be anything. hair color, disability, etc
What does it mean to have empathy and what does it have to do with being a bystander?
-feel for someone else-put yourself in someone else's shoes
-having empathy for the victim in a bullying situation helps a bystander make a positive choice-they feel that the person is hurting and want to change that.

No one is watching them, no supervision, they can hide behind a screen. they think they are anonymous.
