Job description of Supervisor at UTM.

What is provide a safe, educational and secure environment for patrons and staff. Supervisory responsibilities include directing work, coaching and mentoring staff and providing assistance and feedback to lifeguards. Technical responsibilities include the understanding and operations of pool chemistry and filtration systems, as well as basic operations of other technical equipment (bulkhead, moveable floor, safety and first aid equipment, underwater vacuums, etc). Administrative skills include schedule management, bather statistics preparation, and several computerized functions. Pool supervisors are responsible for customer service/inquiries, opening and closing procedures, ensuring that all staff and patrons are adhering to Ministry of Health Regulations for swimming pools.
