Employees should contact police immediately for any serious crime that occurs in the store, such as a robbery, burglary, or assault, or if there is an imminent threat of harm to an employee or a Guest.
Under any other scenario, employees should not contact the police unless the employee receives approval to contact the police by the Regional Asset Protection Manager (the “RAPM”) or the Area’s Human Resources Business Partner (the “HRBP”) Employees should not threaten a guest with contacting the police unless a serious crime is occurring or there is an immediate threat of harm to an employees or guest as set forth above.
