No, overstuffing bins leads to many problems downstream for other stowers and pickers. It also increases the likelihood that an item will fall on the ground

Gloves, highly visible safety vest, and a harness. Do not even attempt to operate PIT without all three.
You see an item fall from a bin and onto the ground, but you aren't sure where it came from. What should you do?
Place the item in the nearest amnesty bin. Do not try to guess where the item came from and place it back.

What comes first in ASIN progression, X00 or B00?
X00 would come first.
Are you allowed to block items in the bin with the same ASIN?
Yes, you should only block an item inside a bin if the items contain the same ASIN. If the items all have different ASINS, then avoid blocking any items altogether.

If the item you want to stow does not fit but there is space for another item, what should do?

Can you scan an item with an FBA label?
NO! Many items contain barcodes that should not be scanned. These barcodes are typically FBA, PO, ISD SSCB. They are not ASINs so remember to always perform a six sided box check.
If an item does not completely fit inside a bin and overhangs into the aisle, does that item need to be placed into a different bin?
Yes, items should never overhang outside of the bin. So make sure you always try to see if the item fits before stowing.
How far away must you be from an elevated PIT?
20 feet at least, items can fall from higher levels and cause injury
If you have an item that will not scan or does not have an ASIN, what should you do?
1. Rescan cage to virtually return items to the cage.
2. Drop your cage physically and virtually in the Problem Solve dropzone if it has problem items. Then continue stowing.
Where can PIT be parked?
PIT can be parked only in designated parking areas outlined in white. Also running PIT are not to be left unattended (more than 25 feet away from vehicle)
Are similar ASINs allowed to be stowed in the same bin?
No! Items with similar ASINs cannot be stowed in the same bin or any other bins touching. However, they can be stowed diagonally. Remember that items with similar ASINs are oftentimes similar items that can be mixed up.
Is it important to stow the items with the titles facing up?
Yes, all items should be stowed right side up so that they can be readily accessible for the next worker who handles them.
What should you do before taking PIT off from the charger?
Make sure you are wearing gloves and pause the charger before unplugging it. This is done to avoid dangerous electric current.
You get done with your stow session and want to park your PIT. What should you make sure to do before leaving the PIT?
Park the PIT into the correct parking spot, lower cage from driving height, turn off the PIT, plug PIT back into charger.
What is the proper stow sequence?
1. Scan item to identify title and bin type
2. Place item in bin physically
3. Scan bin virtually

How do you pass another PIT driver safely?
First make sure the other PIT driver is at driving height and nto raised in the air. Then you should always make eye contact with the other driver, honk the horn to alert them, and ask if it is okay to pass.
If you encounter an item that appears to have damage, what should you do?
Take the item to a problem solver, do not try to stow the item.
What is the difference between ending a session vs. dropping a cart in a drop zone?
Ending a session occurs when you have completely stowed all of the items and have an empty cage or tote. Dropping happens when there are still physical items in the bin that cannot be stowed. The stower therefore must drop the items to a drop zone where they can be further handled by a problem solver.
