This Amendment Granted women the right to vote
19th Amendment
This Amendment said that Congressional pay increases do not take effect until the next term
27th Amendment
People are allowed to bear arms (own guns)
2nd Amendment
You have the right to be protected against cruel and unusual punishments
8th Amendment
People are free from discrimination and guaranteed equal protection under the law
14th Amendment
This amendment outlawed alcohol. It was repealed after being law for nearly 14 years
18th Amendment
This amendment lowered the voting age to 18.
26th Amendment
People are protected from unlawful searches and seizures
4th Amendment
Things not reserved to the federal government or specifically barring the states from engaging in belong to the states
10th Amendment
The right to vote cannot be denied based upon race.
15th Amendment
This lame duck amendment moved inauguration from March to January
20th Amendment
This amendment laid the groundwork for succession in case the president proved incapable of doing his job.
25th Amendment
People are protected from self incrimination. People are protected from being tried twice for the same crime (double jeopardy) and the government cannot seize your property with paying for it.
5th Amendment
You have additional rights that are not specifically mentioned in the Constitution

The federal government has the right to tax income

This Amendment limited presidents to 2 terms
22nd Amendment
This amendment says that people may not be charged a fee to vote.
24th Amendment
No quartering of soldiers in people's homes
3rd Amendment
You have the right to a trial by jury in civil cases
7th Amendment
U.S. Senators are elected by the people instead of being chosen by state legislatures.
17th Amendment
This amendment repealed prohibition
21st Amendment
This amendment stated that residents of Washington D.C. would be allowed to vote in presidential elections and have electors.
