At the end of the story why did The Monkey King want to help Jin to save his friendship between him and Wei-Chin?
After Wei-Chin stopped accepting The Monkey King/his father's visits he started The Monkey King and started visiting Jin instead. He believes in Jin and he knows how much Jin meant to Wei-Chin and if Jin can bring back the important friendship between the two of them, than maybe Wei-Chin will find hope and be happy again and bring everything back to normal with him and his father.
