People that are forced to work with no rights. They were not paid for their work and could not choose what kind of work they did. Founding Fathers from the North (Hamilton, Jay) did not like this as much as Founding Fathers from the South (Jefferson, Washington).

Disagreement over who to give power to states in compromise. Resulted in the Senate (New Jersey Plan / small states) where every state gets 2 votes and the House of Representatives (Virginia Plan / big states) where states get more votes if they have more people.
