Bacon's Rebellion 

In 1676, a planter named Nathaniel Bacon. He led a bunch of white workers against the native Americans of the Susquehannah and Occaneechi tribes. Governor William Berkeley charged Bacon with treason. Then Bacon marched his 500 men on Jamestown and burned it down. But the government was able to suppress Bacon by tricking the workers by telling them they were going to feed them, only to return to there "masters”
