There was an angry mob of American citizens that were throwing stones at the British soldiers and the British got annoyed so they killed 5 American citizens. A newspaper was made and it  made the Americans look like they got shot when they were doing nothing wrong and the soldiers looked like they were doing it on purpose. They made the British look bad even though it was the Americans that started it.
