Max’s father (Roy) is not supportive of Max being a Stonekeeper or member of the Guardian Council like his grandfather. He’d rather Max become the chief of police like him.

The Voice by way of the Mother Stone/ Stonekeepers. The cycle of war & chaos is followed by 500 years of peace. So the cycle is predicted every 500 years.
