Sky eels are docile (non violent) and among the oldest living creatures on the planet Alledia and even Earth- no danger to airships. Wyverns are aggressive flying predators, similar to dragons- very dangerous to airships.

A thunderstorm that has been raging for centuries without slowing. It lies over the northern Ocean and is a known graveyard for airships, as most attempts to maneuver it have ended in fatality.
