Whats the difference between jealous and zealous?
Zealous is the adjective form of zeal, meaning enthusiasm: "Her boss praised her zealous work on the project." ("Overzealous" is used to criticize obsessive or fanatical behavior.)
Jealous describes someone who resents not having what someone else has ("She got a new car, and I'm jealous") or someone who distrusts the loyalty of someone they love ("His girlfriend is very jealous").
