What is Anatomy
A single plane which passes through the center long axis of the body; it divides the body into equal right and left halves

Any plane which is located at a right angle to the medial plane and passes through the long axis of the body; divides the body into top and bottom segments
What is transverse plane?
Thick, stringy fluids; reduce friction between cartilage and other tissues in the joints to lubricate and cushion them during movement

A smooth membrane consisting of a thin layer of cells; it line and enclose several body cavities where they secrete a lubricating fluid which reduce friction from muscle movement
