As soon as Osiris got inside to look around, Seth snapped the lid on tight.Seth then threw him in the Nile Isis started to search for Osiris for a long time, until she suddenly found him floating in the Nile! She turned herself into a hawk and flew down to get him. “Oh dear brother/husband I’ve been worried sick!!” So she carried him and flew back to Egypt with his dead body.Seth was so angry, when he found out. So he stole Osiris’ body when Isis was out crying and he cut him into 14 pieces and scattered them all over Egypt. Isis went searching for them everywhere even, in temples and houses, but she only found the pieces. She tried to use magic to put him back together but it didn’t work!! Isis was so sad. She wept for days, and thought to mummify him in the belief that, he would come back in the next world.
