How was mint created?
The naiad of the Underworld's River Cocytus was named Minthe, and she caught Hades's eye. She wished to go to the upper world, and Hades would take her there. When she got there, she was amazed. However, Hades realized he should not have done this because he didn't want Persephone to get angry. He dissolved into the shadows, and Minthe realized that she really was beautiful, making her think she should be queen. She bragged she was more beautiful than Persephone, who squashed Minthe with her foot, who, when got smeared across the hillside, became mint.
How did Kronos get to power?
Gaea hated Ouranos for abusing her children and tossing her second and third set of children into Tartarus. To get revenge, she created the first weapon ever made: the scythe. She asked her twelve titan children about who wants to kill Ouranos. Only Kronos stepped up, and he devised a plan to kill his father. He ambushed him and chopped Ourans up. Then he was crowned as king of the cosmos.
