However, Hades realized he should not have done this because he didn't want Persephone to get angry. He dissolved into the shadows, and Minthe realized that she really was beautiful, making her think she should be queen. She bragged she was more beautiful than Persephone, who squashed Minthe with her foot, who, when got smeared across the hillside, became mint.
