Athens: Boys attended school (reading, writing, music and drama) Girls attended if they were wealthy. Women had few rights and were not allowed to vote. 

Sparta: Boys were warriors. They would join army when old enough. Focused on military and strength. Girls also focused on strength. Women had rights, could own property, and were NOT allowed to vote
