What is Laker Village?
CARE Team relies heavily on RAs for outreach when students describe feeling like they're not connected to campus. We've facilitated over 50 appointments related to Social/Adjustment Issues, and this community was home to the majority of them.

When residents provide staff with inaccurate information, that's against our policy. For example, providing a GVPD officer or RA with a fake name would be a violation of this Community Living Standard.
What is CLS 4.18 False Information? Shoutout to the Off-Campus staff - they saw the majority of these incidents in Fall 2024.

Residents recording other residents within their shared unit has unfortunately been on the rise, which can *sometimes* be a violation of this Community Living Standard
What is CLS 4.32 Privacy Violation? Shoutout to ROMP for responding to the most incidents related to this CLS.
When students are charged with CLS 3.4 Regulated Items, they get a warning letter asking them to remove the item in question in a timely fashion. This is the regulated item most frequently found by RAs.
What is a mini fridge? Our policy: One refrigerator of 4.6 cubic feet or less is allowed per unit in the cluster, traditional, and suite-style.
This residence hall was the location with the MOST CARE and conduct cases created for Fall 2024, including those that were referred out to OSCCR or the Dean of Students
What is Copeland? Bonus fact: There were 119 CARE and conduct cases from Copeland alone in Fall 2024!

What is CLS 4.15 Failure to Comply? Thank you to our Kistler RAs, who responded to the vast majority of these incidents in Fall 2024.
When things don't quite escalate to a physical altercation but residents threaten one another or express intention to fight, that's still a violation of our Community Living Standards and we'll likely use this policy as a talking point in a conduct meeting
What is CLS 4.25 Harmful Behavior?
Also known as CLS 3.2, this policy outlines expectations of residents to respond to communication from our department in a timely manner, collaborate on a roommate agreement, keep shared spaces within a unit clean, and report facilities emergencies at the point of notice
What is Resident Responsibilities?
This is the one Community Living Standard where an individual may be found "responsible" even if they were not the person directly responsible for causing harm
What is CLS 4.23 Guest Policy? Reminder: your role is not over with once you've reported this type of violation! Remember to work with your CD to ensure that proper follow-up occurs. We saw several repeat offenders in Fall 2024.
CLS 4.19 Falsification is used when students are found in possession of a fake ID, and we've seen quite a few of them this semester! This North Campus community confronted this issue more often than others.
What is Holton-Hooker Learning & Living Center?
We stumbled upon a lot of illegal substances while on duty during Fall 2024. There's one drug in particular that is responsible for the majority of our substance-related calls to GVPD, and it's this one.
What is marijuana? Shoutout to NHF - alleged substance use, including marijuana, was the number one issue they responded to in Fall 2024. A couple other notes: help KZ out with language in your IRs, and always call up when you find drugs!
This Community Living Standard was WHOJ's most popular charge in Fall 2024, and is often used in conjunction with other Community Living Standards/Anchor Student Expectations to adjudicate cases where GVPD and HRL collaborated on the response
What is CLS 4.46 Violation of Local, State, or Federal Law?
While it's a great way to take notes for class or organize a meeting agenda due to the ability to edit content in real time, this web application isn't ideal for sharing notes about roommate conflicts

This Community Living Standard includes everything from covering smoke alarms to adding window furnishings or removing screens, and the violations included in this policy are designed to keep our communities safe and prevent facilities emergencies
