This language, which can be found in both the HRL Community Living Standards and The Anchor, prohibits "engaging in, aiding, abetting, inciting, organizing, approving, hosting, or otherwise participating in an activity or event that would constitute physical abuse or would endanger the safety, health, or well-being of another or multiple individuals, or groups or would cause reasonable apprehension of such harm"

What is Endangerment?

When a roommate conflict escalates to the point that a room change is necessary, who should you encourage residents to speak to within our department?

Who is a Community Director? A few other things about room changes: they're oftentimes not immediate, there's not a guarantee that a new situation will be better, and the student/s who move/s is dependent on the situation

200

This community was home to the most charges related to CLS 3.3 Prohibited Items and CLS 3.4 Regulated Items in Fall 2024

What is Laker Village?

When residents refuse to cooperate with a reasonable directive from their RA, a professional HRL staff member, a GVPD officer, or other university representative, they're in violation of this Community Living Standard (and this includes refusing to identify oneself when asked to provide an ID)

What is CLS 4.15 Failure to Comply? Thank you to our Kistler RAs, who responded to the vast majority of these incidents in Fall 2024.

400

When things don't quite escalate to a physical altercation but residents threaten one another or express intention to fight, that's still a violation of our Community Living Standards and we'll likely use this policy as a talking point in a conduct meeting

CLS 4.19 Falsification is used when students are found in possession of a fake ID, and we've seen quite a few of them this semester! This North Campus community confronted this issue more often than others.
