Hamsters DO burrow. you need at least 6 inches of bedding. the safest bedding is paper based bedding, like care fresh or kaytee clean and cozy. you want to stay away from any wood shavings like pine and cedar.

NO! they cant! carrots are EXTREMLY HIGH SUGAR and pellets should only be given about 6 teaspoons and fed every other day. Their diet consists of lettuce, kale and other fruits and vegetables.

[if they bar spaces are to big cover them with wire/mesh]
