After spending the majority of her life in relatively good health, active in music, sports and having two children in the early 70's, decades later, a doctors visit revealed mom was apparently born with only one of these. Thank God for August 2017

One of mom's favorite things to do when she is at home. I'm sure she has a favorite from every decade of her earthly existence and now because of the pandemic, she doesn't have to leave the house to do it.

This fast food eatery which was founded in 1921, was one of mom's favorite food stops either before or after choir rehearsals when she was at Mt Zion, but this place didn't have any kings or queens

Mom told us about this St Louis landmark. In February 1962, the roof came off during a horrific storm/tornado. So glad that the blues were not playing that night.

The subject mom taught for the majority of her 18 years in the Maplewood School District before taking an early retirement to do music full time in 1997

The year AWS composed her first song. Carl Lewis dominated the Olympics with his running abilities and not his singing abilities around the same time but we could be wrong.

During the 1979-1980 School Year, Mom held this position when Chris was in the 4th grade at University Forest Elementary School in University City, MO.

The year St Louis have a record 14 inches of snow. Mom made Syl and Chris walk to the store in the middle of Olive St Rd since all of the cars were snowed in for at least a week

Every Christmas season, mom played this historic body of work on her record player for weeks that was originally composed in 1741. It drove Chris and Sylvia crazy, but was very educational in music development. She played ALL 53 movements.....Front and back of the records

In the 1970's and 1980's, mom was responsible for preparing this "scrumptious" dish for thanksgiving for the Stevenson Family that originates from the inside of a pig. The smell and preparation were legendary and forgetful in the Watkins household
