The process that allows for a researcher to ensure that the sample represents the population that is being tested

an interview with the amount of questions exact, each building upon eachother

having more than one mode ex:two scores appear equally frequent and more than any other

the inability to tell which variables came first

The more variety of people being tested, the more it can apply to the general public

using two or more ways ex: mean and median to get the exact average scores

A bell shaped graph, where the top is the average, and as you go out the averages are one central tendency away from each other
