What is Group 1?
Blue county shirt with black, khaki, or grey shorts
What is the park uniform?
Where the positive circles are so coaches can access them for lessons
What is the coaches binder?
August 4th
When is the last day of summer camp?
A piece of PPE that should always be used when helping someone to avoid physical contact between you and their injury
What are gloves?
Ages 7 and 8 with Kiki, Dante, Ceria, Jar-Varis
What is Group 2?
Where scooters, bikes, horseplay, and pets are not allowed
What is the skate park?
A 10-15 minute discussion to be done each day with the kids
What is a positive circle?
Skate Week, Video Game Week, Team Sports Week, Ocean Week, Nature Week, Holiday Week, Superhero Week, and Decades Week
What are themed weeks?
First aid equipment to be used on field trips or in emergencies when we cannot access an ice machine
What are instant ice packs?
Ages 9-12 with Sammy, Alejandro, and Eric
What is Group 3?
This should be done when leaving any room and includes putting equipment away, sanitizing tables, and sweeping anything off the floor
What is cleaning?
A 20-25 minute overview of the PCA topic of the week
What is a weekly lesson?
Juneteenth (June 19th) and Independence Day (July 4th)
Injuries that occur to staffing on the job which must be reported immediately
What are work related injuries?
Our park coverage who will also help groups when staffing is needed?
Who is Jack?
What we ask for when someone is picking up a participant that we do not recognize
What is an ID?
Award given each week to two participants (one boy and one girl) in each group to recognize their efforts and positive attitude at camp throughout the week
What is the Positive Player of the Week award?
Four for each group along with on-site vendors (such as Reptile Discovery and Canvas Painting)
What are field trips?
Immediately notify parents, provide any ice, and watch participants behavior following the incident
What is a head injury?
The groups that will be switching between the game room and main building on a daily basis
What are Groups 2 and 3?
Immediately call Darlene and Jason's work cell, leave a voicemail AND text if there is no answer
