Humans have been capable of amazing acts of compassion and kindness, and yet also unspeakable acts of violence and horror. How does the Christian worldview explain such a stark contradiction in attitudes and behavior?
We are made in God's image, and therefore are capable of love and compassion. But that image has been marred by sin, which can cause us to act rebelliously and violently.

Many people use the parable of the elephant and the blind men in order to illustrate that everyone is partially correct in their worldview. But what do the blind men in the parable really need in order to correctly understand the reality of the elephant? 1. The elephant to reveal himself. God has revealed himself to us in Jesus.
2. Their blindness to be healed. God can heal our blindness and give us new eyes to see clearly.
3. Someone who can see to tell them. Christians are called to go and tell others the Truth about God.
