Most religions teach that you must work your way to God. Christianity is different. God came to us. This person suffered more than any other person. He took our sin, all of it. Past, present, and future so that we could stand before God blameless and pure.

In most religions we have to be 'good enough' in order for God to accept us. In Christianity, God comes down to be good enough FOR us.
