What is a Minor
A course that a student is enrolled in that does not count towards your Major/Minor or a Major-Related course that a students gets to choose from a list.
What is an Elective
(Some electives are courses that don't count towards your Major or Minor, however, they can count towards your degree if you need a certain amount of credits, they count towards your GPA some students take electives to beef up their GPA. Major-related electives gives students the option to choose a specific course from a list which all count towards the same reward).
A college student that gets to dorm for free and/or at a discounted rate in exchange for service of monitoring dorms ensuring of no violations on dorm premises etc.
