What should you do if a resident falls in the dining room?
Go to the resident, push their button to alert floor staff to come, inform them to stay where they are until floor staff arrives, ask them if they are okay. If another staff member is near you, you can ask them to radio or flag down someone.

What should you do if there is a resident elopement?
If you witness it: follow the resident and try to convince them to come back inside, push there button to alert floor staff to come help you
If you don't witness it/resident location is unconfirmed: every staff member in the building helps look for the resident, checking all rooms/closets/etc.

The wall by the kitchen sink/by the kitchen doorway
When should you wash your hands?
After touching dirty dishes, touching hair/face, after handling money, after using the restroom, before putting on gloves, before touching food items, etc.
What is a sickness symptom that you should NOT come to work with?
Vomiting, infected sores, diarrhea, jaundice, and a sore throat with a fever
What should you do if there is a tornado warning?
If during meal service - stop meal service, inform residents to go back to their rooms, and then help floor staff go room to room and shut residents' windows/blinds and ask them to go the bathroom in their room

Documents that provide information about the hazards, properties, and safe handling of hazardous chemicals or products
What should you do if a resident is choking?
Start by asking the resident if they are okay to confirm if they are actually choking or not. If they are, and a nurse or floor staff is in the immediate area, you can flag them down really quick. If they are not, the you would perform the Heimlich
