The Korean War and the Vietnam War both were fighting communism in their own countries, so under the Truman Doctrine, we helped them to not fall under communism.

Korematsu vs. U.S. (1944) - Detainment and relocation was a "military necessity" rather than racial discrimination. Very brutal camps.

The New Deal gave more job opportunities for Americans until WW2 when it just boomed for everybody.
