A- Two key factors that led the Mongols to claim lands from Poland to the far east coast of China is that they had a big army. The Mongols would also would threaten/kill the civilizations that would decline the offer to join them.

C- The Mongols army was very threating to the civilization that they encountered. The Mongols rode on horseback which allowed them to travel fast. The Mongols were also skilled archers which gave them a better opportunity on the battle field because they could attack from long distance rather than face to face combat.

E- The organocation system of the Mongols allowed them to last so long because it ensured that everyone was accounted for and that no one could rebel because they were constantly under watch.

A- The primary difference between an explorer and a conquistador is that an explorer searches for new lands to claim for its county, while a conquistador searches for a civilization and takes over the people/town.

C- Hernan Cortes is considered a conquistador because of he would make friends of the enemies of a big city. Cortes would also give the natives of newly discovered lands gifts.
