When approaching a behavior resident in an "episode" what is the MOST important thing to remember?  

1. We work in THEIR home they do not LIVE in our work place. In a frustrating moment we have to remember that they are here for a reason and we are choosing to take care of them during the good, bad and the ugly. Our care should never fluctuate even when someone is being hard to deal with, rude or disrespectful.

1. Staff to put away ALL leftover food for residents wanting 2nds, snacks or late night/noc shift meals 

2. Staff can take food home the FOLLOWING day after food is prepared IF there is not enough left overs for ALL residents or it has reached the 3rd day mark which then it can be taken home or tossed
