Absolutely! It's another way to show complexity and a "sophisticated understanding of the rhetorical situation." This paper needs TENSION.

Do you cite sources and use quotations in this task?
NO! Your evidence is your prior knowledge. You have no "sources." You refer to your evidence in the more precise way possible, but there are no authors to cite, quotes to embed, or pages to reference.
