The oil pastel artist, Tania Rivlis, made artworks of expressive male portraits. What are two differences in her artwork in comparison to our figure drawing projects?

- Only drew the head of the person, not the whole body

- Used more than 2, complementary colors (used a lot of colors)

- Left her background empty, our project had us use a technique in our background

- Used techniques in her portraits other than simple, smooth blending with harsh and light pressure (she used stippling & scumbling).
