Have you not considered, [O Muhammad], how your Lord dealt with the companions of the elephant?
Did He not make their plan into misguidance?
And He sent against them birds in flocks,
Striking them with stones of hard clay,
And He made them like eaten straw.

Surah al Kafiroon.
It was revealed when the Quraysh made an offer to the Prophet ﷺ that he worships their god for a year and they would worship Allah the next year.

Created man from a clinging substance.

Who taught by the pen -
Taught man that which he knew not.

May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he.

It is revealed about Abu Lahabb (he insulted the Prophet ﷺ when he called them to Islam).
And the poets - [only] the deviators follow them;
Do you not see that in every valley they roam
And that they say what they do not do? -
