Have you not considered, [O Muhammad], how your Lord dealt with the companions of the elephant?
Did He not make their plan into misguidance?
And He sent against them birds in flocks,
Striking them with stones of hard clay,
And He made them like eaten straw.

Nor are you worshippers of what I worship.
Nor will I be a worshipper of what you worship.

For you is your religion, and for me is my religion."

Surah al Kafiroon.
It was revealed when the Quraysh made an offer to the Prophet ﷺ that he worships their god for a year and they would worship Allah the next year.
Recite in the name of your Lord who created -
Created man from a clinging substance.
Recite, and your Lord is the most Generous -
Who taught by the pen -
Taught man that which he knew not.

First Revelation
May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he.
His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained.

Around her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber.

Surah al Masad.
It is revealed about Abu Lahabb (he insulted the Prophet ﷺ when he called them to Islam).
And the poets - [only] the deviators follow them;
Do you not see that in every valley they roam
And that they say what they do not do? -

This is Allah's response to the Quraysh when the Prophet ﷺ was called a poet by them. He is describing the nature of the poets and that the Qur'an is definitely not this!

When the Prophet ﷺ was upset and felt sad about how the Quraysh were treating him, Allah revealed these ayaat to comfort him.
