What is the story behind Holi?
The demon lord Hiranyakashipu wanted to avenge the death of his younger brother by killing Vishnu. The demon lord thought he was invincible and becuase of the power he got from a boon, and had his whole state belief he was a god and made others dimiss the other gods. But the demon lord son still prayed to Vishnu. With the help of the demon lord's sister, he and the sister tried to kill the son by burning him, but due to his faith he survived while his father and aunt died in the fire.
